NYSE Pillar is our new integrated trading technology platform that will enable member firms to connect to all NYSE equities and options markets using a standard protocol. NYSE Pillar is designed to improve efficiency and reduce complexity for customers, while enhancing consistency, performance and resiliency.
Upon completion of the migration, the NYSE options exchanges will provide the benefits of the NYSE Pillar platform, which offers:

NYSE Arca Options has begun the Production testing phase of the migration. To be enabled for testing in the Production environment, Participants must complete required certification and documentation.
NYSE Pillar is available for weekday testing using test symbols. The Exchange will also offer seven weekend testing opportunities for Production testing, which will support both testing and non-testing symbols. Weekend testing opportunities are:
* Participation is required in at least one of the two offered mandatory test dates to be enabled for Production on November 1, 2021. Mandatory weekend tests will include T+1 outputs and CAT submissions.
Participants must register with [email protected] by the Thursday preceding the above dates to secure connectivity and Production sessions. A test script will be provided upon registration.

Updated Functional Differences to include Complex Order Book details
Basic functional certification with Technology Member Services (“TMS”) is required in the NYSE Pillar Certification environment (“Pillar Cert”) prior to being enabled for the Production environment. Pillar Cert is: free of charge, has a dedicated TMS team to support testing Monday - Friday, and mirrors the Production environment, including Proprietary Market Data feeds and connectivity to OPRA Test Systems.
Participants are also encouraged to test Trade Ops Portal (“TOP”) functionality which will include Risk Monitor, Risk Settings, Trade Summary.
