Large meeting & event rooms
The Board Room features a glass and iron, LED skylit ceiling with tall arches and richly ornamented walls emulating the style of the Classical Revival. The room is adorned with a monumental stone and silver urn produced by the House of House of Fabergé, which was gifted to the exchange by Czar Nicholas II of Russia in 1904, and the original regulator wall clock that was used to conduct trading at the exchange in 1867. An anteroom connects this room to the grand marble staircase that unites both floors comprising the event space.

Bond Room is organized in the style of a lounge with couch furniture along the perimeter of the room and center tables stationed towards the middle. The design allows for a variation between the formal and informal meeting style and a custom preset arrangement providing a comfort setting. A selection of domestic and international trading bonds line the walls of the room along with an 1882 David Hockney Photographic Collage of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Clerk’s Work Room was originally a workspace for clerks to process typed and handwritten trade orders and to assist in the delivery of trading products. It was the only other space at the time that allowed for trading executions opposite the Trading Floor. The room is accessed via an anteroom entrance connecting both sections of the space and featuring various NYSE artifacts and art collections. An array of art pieces, for instance, commissioned by Fortune Magazine in 1977 are mounted on the room wall. They depict the installation of new trading posts and metal space frames during the 1979 overhaul of the Trading Floor that brought support of modern technology.

Siebert Hall honors the late Muriel Siebert, who became the first woman to own a seat on the NYSE Trading Floor in 1967. She also made history when she later headed her own firm, Muriel Siebert & Co., Inc. The room is decked with memorabilia from Muriel’s career and artifacts that celebrate other trailblazing women that followed in her footsteps. It also features a sculpture affixed within the ceiling that reflects the motion of ticker tape, and an oil painting on wood that captures the imagery of a bull and bear.

The Wall Street Room’s well-lit space stands elevated at the corner of Wall and Broad streets. On display are renaissance paintings by Sandro Boticelli and Leondardo Da Vinci as well as Andy Warhol’s pop art of the 1960s. Featured alongside these is a custom Les Paul guitar presented to the NYSE by Jimmy Page, lead guitarist of the classic heavy metal band Led Zeppelin. He signed the guitar after playing “Whole Lotta Love” on the NYSE Bell Podium at the Opening Bell on May 11, 2005.
