Steven Wolfe Pereira, CEO & Founder of Alpha
Steven Wolfe Pereira is the CEO and Founder of Alpha, a privately-held global AI governance intelligence company. Alpha provides independent technology research, certifications and governance ratings, an exclusive global membership network, and advisory services to board directors and C-suite executives.
With over 25 years working at the intersection of technology, marketing, and finance, Mr. Wolfe Pereira's experience spans both sides of the boardroom table. As an operator, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at Datalogix (acquired by Oracle, $1.2B), Neustar (acquired by Golden Gate Capital, $3B), and Quantcast, leveraging data, machine learning, and AI across all go-to-market functions. His executive leadership spans Publicis Groupe and TelevisaUnivision, and he co-founded Encantos, an award-winning education technology company. He began his career in private equity at Blackstone Group and Salomon Smith Barney, then joined Akamai Technologies in 1999 as part of their network infrastructure engineering group. As a director, Steven currently serves on the boards of Save the Children, Latino Community Foundation, and privately-held Whalar.
Mr. Wolfe Pereira completed the Stanford Directors' Consortium and holds an Executive MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA from Tufts University. He is a Fulbright Scholar and contributes to Forbes on artificial intelligence. His insights have been featured in Bloomberg, Fast Company, Fortune, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
