US equity futures exploded higher on the early morning news of the US-China tariff pause. That strength continued into today's session. The S&P 500 gapped above its 200-day average, came in a little bit but bounced off 5800. We're currently at the highs of the day, up 3%. The equal-weight is up about 2.5% and the Russell 2000 is outperforming, up over 3%. Treasury yields spiked and the US Dollar Index also jumped, up over 1% and strengthening sharply versus the Euro and Yen. Risk sentiment is also driving crude higher, with Brent up about 2%.
