NYSE Pillar Trade Ops Portal

Web-based management tools for NYSE markets

TOP is a free web-based tool that allows firms to manage their interactions with NYSE's markets. The tool offers functionality for clients trading on all NYSE Group markets.

Customers can now do the following:

  • See real-time auction imbalances
  • View executed trade details
  • Review an inventory of Pillar order entry and drop copy sessions
  • View their firm’s volume by liquidity tag
  • Configure Pre-Trade and Activity-Based Risk Controls
  • Allocate Open Outcry trades
  • Apply Post Trade clearing changes
  • Intraday order viewer
  • View invoices
  • Set limits for risk management tools

Customers can view all NYSE equities and options exchanges from one single portal and login. Users may customize their experience by selecting only relevant modules.

Request a Login

  1. Your Compliance Department must first submit the Trade Ops Portal Authorization Administrator form to establish authorized admistrators entitled to set up Trade Ops Portal Users. Contact [email protected] for a list of Authorized Administrators for your firm.
  2. Once the Trade Ops Portal Authorized Administrators have been established, TOP Authorized Administrators can sign the TOP User Request form and return to [email protected].
  3. CRS will contact you with login instructions once your account has been created for access to https://top.nyse.com.

TOP REST API

NYSE equities and options markets also offer a Trade Ops Portal (TOP) REST API.

TOP REST API Functionality

NYSE equites and options members can execute the following actions via the TOP REST API:

  • Risk Management - Manage Pre-Trade and Activity-Based Risk Controls
  • Session Information - Download an inventory of Pillar Order Entry and Drop Copy sessions

Additionally, American Options and Arca Options members can also utilize the TOP REST API to perform trade management tasks currently available in TOP.

  • Trade Management - Download executed trade details, allocate Open Outcry trades and apply Post Trade clearing changes
