How do I cancel my service?

Real-Time Market Data:

Subscribers should direct requests to cancel services to the data vendor providing the service. Data vendors require cancellations to be submitted by the account holder only. Please refer to your NYSE invoice under the “Vendor/VAN” column to obtain vendor information and contact your data vendor directly.

If you have already contacted your vendor but are still being charged on your NYSE invoice, contact your vendor to verify the following:

Service cancellation effective date

The date the cancellation report will be submitted to NYSE

As soon as your vendor reports the disconnection of the service, your NYSE account will be adjusted.

Non Real-Time Market Data:

The NYSE requires a minimum of 30 days prior written notice to the NYSE or as defined in the Exhibit A governing the NYSE Data product, copying your delivery vendor (if applicable) should you wish to cease receipt of NYSE data. Cancellation notices should be submitted here and shall include the following information: legal name of the entity receiving the NYSE Service, the NYSE Services which are being terminated; date of effective termination; and the name; title of person authorizing the termination and reason for termination. NYSE reserves the right to request additional information.

Please note that your contract/agreement with the NYSE is different and separate from the contract you have with your delivery vendor. Please consult with your delivery vendor on their termination terms and conditions.

Note: This is intended to set forth NYSE PDP non-real time data cancellation guidelines. Questions and/or circumstances not covered herein should be referred to NYSE for the determination of applicable fees and procedures.

I already cancelled my service with my vendor(s). Why am I still receiving an invoice?

Market data vendors report electronically to the NYSE at least once a month. As soon as your vendor reports your firm’s service cancellation, your invoice will be adjusted accordingly. Please allow one to two billing cycles for the adjustment to appear on your firm’s NYSE Market Data invoice. NYSE encourages customers to follow up with their vendors to ensure that they report their service removal in a timely manner.

For non Real-Time Proprietary Market Data products, if the data vendor is listed as NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE - PDP, please submit an inquiry and include the product/file name on your email correspondence.

If you still have questions, please contact us.
