The Messaging Technology Platform that Integrates the World’s Securities Markets

The Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure® (SFTI®) provides a single point of connectivity with lowest-latency access to trade across asset classes and geographies.  It is designed to be the industry’s most secure and resilient network for electronic trading.  Reduce your time-to-market with significant cost savings.

Through SFTI, you can access global execution venues, liquidity pools, market data, clearing applications and other financial industry participants.  The high-performance network backbone connects over 1,300 participants to markets across the U.S., including all NMS market centers, and is expanding to become the global backbone for connectivity to all securities markets.

  • Integrates network-based intelligent application services delivered via TransactTools.
  • Supports trading order flow and multicast based market data distribution as well as various regulatory, clearance and administrative functions for the financial industry.
  • Co-location at the NYSE Euronext data centers as well as SFTI Access Centers for lowest latency by virtue of proximity to trading and market data venues.
  • Provision services directly into SFTI Access Centers, or connect via our managed services, or use an approved third party extranet or service bureau.
  • The OMS neutral FIX router enables you to get to any destination through a single FIX connection

SFTI is engineered for high performance, security, and resiliency.  All connections, equipment, power supplies and network links are redundant. The architecture features independent, self-healing fiber-optic rings which enable financial data traffic to move uninterrupted along another pathway if a SFTI fiber pathway is compromised.

Tightly integrated with SFTI’s architecture is an ever-expanding suite of application services that provide intelligent capabilities for managing trades and information. These range from in-network message format translation to smart routing to compliance/risk filtering to transaction quality reporting.  SFTI reduces the cost and risk associated with connecting and managing multiple third-party networks and technologies.

The DMA Gateway (DMAG) will provide fastest possible market access while controlling risk.  Because the DMAG technology will be integrated within SFTI, protocol translations are handled so that you no longer have to talk the same language as the market centers you wish to do business with.  The DMAG will provide real-time risk monitoring and filtering, trading activity and intra-day position reporting, and even multiplexing of high-volume channels across market connections.  Inline risk controls ensure that you are never exposed beyond your configured risk tolerance.
