The WhiteWave Foods Company Celebrates Initial Public Offering and First Day of Trading on the New York Stock Exchange

NEW YORK, October 26, 2012 - The WhiteWave Foods Company, a consumer packaged food and beverage company with leading brands in plant-based foods and beverages, coffee creamers and beverages and premium dairy products, opened for trading today on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol "WWAV" after its initial public offering.  Barclays is the Designated Market Maker for the company's stock.
 
Chief Executive Officer Gregg L. Engles, joined by members of WhiteWave's leadership team, celebrated the company's first day of trading by ringing The Opening BellSM and visiting the NYSE trading floor for the stock opening.
