NEW YORK & NASHVILLE, March 9, 2011-- Beginning today, readers of Corporate Board Member magazine, which reaches 38,000 directors and C-suite officers, can experience an all-encompassing digital experience at their fingertips by downloading the magazine’s new free mobile app to their iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch.
Subscribers will be able to access stories and save their favorite articles and sections for future reference, all in an environment specifically designed for their mobile device. The app will also link to Corporate Board Member's RSS feeds so they can receive the latest news and updates on strategic governance challenges as they occur.
“It is our aim to provide timely news and educational content when and where directors need it,” says Corporate Board Member President, TK Kerstetter. “The launch of the app brings critical information to directors who are often busy and on the go, in a crisp, digital format that offers the full breadth of our magazine, as well as interactive links to related content, ” he says.
The Corporate Board Member app is available now for download from the iTunes App Store, which will house a library of current and past issues, beginning with the Corporate Board Member’s first quarter 2010 issue. The issues may be read online or downloaded for offline use, and the iTunes library will be automatically updated as new quarterly issues of Corporate Board Member become available.
