NYSE Euronext Appoints Clifford J. Weber as Head of Product Development and Strategy for NYSE Liffe
New York, November 10, 2008 – NYSE Liffe, LLC, the U.S. futures exchange of NYSE Euronext (NYX ), today announced that Clifford J. Weber joined the company as Executive Vice President, Head of Product Development and Strategy.  Mr. Weber, 45, will report to Thomas F. Callahan, NYSE Euronext Executive Vice President and Head of U.S. Futures, and be responsible for the research, development and implementation strategy for NYSE Liffe’s financial products.

“We welcome Cliff Weber to NYSE Liffe,” said Hugh Freedberg, Group Executive Vice President and Head of Global Derivatives, NYSE Euronext.  “His extensive new product development experience in the cash and derivatives markets make him a great fit for NYSE Liffe as we look to further establish and expand our business in the U.S.

Most recently, Mr. Weber was Executive Vice President, Development and Strategy at the American Stock Exchange (Amex) where he was responsible for the ETF Marketplace, Capital Markets, Equities, and Research and Strategy.  He played a key role in the development and deployment of the Amex’s successful ETF business, and has held various positions at the Amex since starting there in 1990.  Mr. Weber has a B.A. from Dartmouth College and M.S.E from University of Pennsylvania .
