The NYSE said it normally considers suspending the securities of a company when the number of outstanding ADSs is less than 600,000. As a result of the completion by Staples Acquisition B.V. an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Staples, Inc. of the initial tender offer to purchase all of the outstanding ADSs of Corporate Express N.V., less than 600,000 ADSs remain publicly held. The NYSE noted that it may, at any time, suspend a security if it believes that continued dealings in the security on the NYSE are not advisable.
