New York Stock Exchange Halted Trading of the American Depositary Shares of Corporate Express N.V.

New York , June 27, 2008 -- The New York Stock Exchange announced that trading in the American Depositary Shares of Corporate Express N.V. -- ticker symbol CXP – has been halted at 11:00 a.m. , pending the expiration of the offer to purchase the American Depositary Shares of Corporate Express N.V. by Staples Acquisition B.V. an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Staples, Inc.
The halt will be in effect until the results of the offer are made available, unless the offer is extended.
