China Nepstar Chain Drugstore Ltd. Celebrates IPO on NYSE
16th New Listing from Greater China on NYSE in 2007 Year-To-Date

NEW YORK, Nov. 9, 2007 – China Nepstar Chain Drugstore Ltd., the largest retail drugstore chain in China based on the number of directly operated stores, today opened for trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “NPD” after its successful IPO in which it raised $334 million.

To celebrate today’s special occasion, China Nepstar Chain Drugstore Ltd. Chairman Simin Zhang rang today’s opening bell, joined by Nepstar CEO Jiannong Qian, Nepstar CFO Andrew Weiwen Chen, and NYSE Euronext CEO John A. Thain.
