China Digital TV Holding Co., Ltd. Celebrates IPO on NYSE
10th New Listing from Greater China on NYSE in 2007 Year To Date

NEW YORK, Oct. 5, 2007 – China Digital TV Holding Co., Ltd., the leading provider of conditional access (CA) systems to China’s rapidly growing digital television market, today opened for trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “STV” after its successful IPO in which it raised $192 million.

To celebrate today’s special occasion, China Digital TV Holding Co., Ltd. Chairman  Zengxiang LU and CEO Jianhua Zhu rang today’s opening bell, joined by NYSE Euronext CEO John A. Thain.
