NYSE Group, Inc. Markets Closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 in Observation of Independence Day
-- Early Close on Tues. July 3, 2007 --

NEW YORK, June 29, 2007 – NYSE Group, Inc., a subsidiary of NYSE Euronext (NYX) will be closed on Wed., July 4, 2007 in observance of Independence Day.

Additionally, on Tues., July 3, 2007, NYSE Group, Inc. will close its markets at 1 p.m. in observance of Independence Day.

Early closings at 1:00 p.m. began in the 1990s and were decided each year by special action of the NYSE's governing body and are not codified in any rule or policy.
