The shares of NYSE Euronext began trading under the ticker symbol NYX on April 4. The company is the world’s first global exchange group, with the world’s largest securities marketplaces on a combined basis encompassing seven exchanges in six countries.
On April 3, Healthshares European Drugs ETF (NYSE: HRJ) and Healthshares Infectious Disease ETF (NYSE: HHG) began trading on the NYSE, both as an Initial Public Offering. Including the initial HealthShares™ ETFs that listed in the first quarter, there are currently 16 HealthShares™ products listed on the Exchange.
