Headquartered in Gaithersburg, MD, this biopharmaceutical company focuses on the development, manufacture and commercialization of immunobiotics raised $63 million in its initial public offering. Hertz Global Holdings, Inc., one largest worldwide general use car rental brands, began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol HTZ. Headquartered in Park Ridge, NJ, the company raised $1.3 billion in its initial public offering on Nov. 16.
On Nov. 16, KBR, Inc., began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol KBR. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, the company provides engineering, construction management, project management to military and governmental entities. KBR, Inc. joined the NYSE as an IPO raising $473 million in its IPO.
Headquartered in New York, NYMEX Holdings, Inc. began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol NMX. The company, the largest physical commodity-based futures exchange and clearinghouse in the world, raised $384 million in its initial public offering on Nov. 17.
Headquartered in Denton, Texas, Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. began trading on the NYSE, under the ticker symbol SBH on Nov. 17. Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. joined the Exchange as a spin-off from Alberto-Culver Company (NYSE: ACV ).
On Nov. 17, Venoco, Inc. began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol VQ. The company is an independent oil company primarily engaged in the acquisition, exploration, exploitation and development of oil and natural gas properties focusing both offshore and onshore California.
