17 New Listings Joined the NYSE Group in the Week Ended October 20, 2006
NEW YORK , October 20, 2006–  In the week ended October 20, 2006 , seventeen new listings joined the roster of NYSE-listed companies.

On Oct. 20, fifteen iShares ETFs transferred from the American Stock Exchange to NYSE Arca.  Including today’s new listings, NYSE Group will have 131 primary ETF listings, 90 of which are iShares.  Combined with the ETFs trading on an unlisted trading privilege basis (UTP), the NYSE Group handled 43% of all ETF shares traded in the U.S. market, the largest exchange liquidity pool for ETF trading through third-quarter 2006.  Please see link  to the iShare press release for details.

First Mercury Financial Corporation began trading on the NYSE on Oct. 18 as an initial public offering.  Headquartered in Southfield , MI , the company began trading under the ticker symbol FMR.

Stanley, Inc., a provider of information technology services to the U.S. Government, began trading on the NYSE on Oct. 18 as an initial public offering.   Trading under the ticker symbol SXE, the company is headquartered in Arlington , Virgina.
