Three Initial Public Offerings Joined the NYSE in the Week Ended August 11, 2006
  • 17th NYSE-listed company from Germany

NEW YORK , August 11, 2006–  In the week ended August 11, 2006 , three initial public offerings  joined the roster of NYSE-listed companies.
               
Aircastle Limited,   a global company that acquires and leases high-utility commercial jet aircrafts to passenger and cargo airlines throughout the world, raised $209.1 million in its initial public offering.  Headquartered in Stamford , Connecticut , the company began trading under the ticker symbol AYR on August 8.

On August 9, Qimonda AG began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “QI”. Qimonda AG is the world's second-largest DRAM memory products provider brings the roster of NYSE-listed German companies to 17.   The company raised $546 million in its initial public offering. 

Evercore Partners Inc. began trading on Aug. 11 on the NYSE under the ticker symbol EVR.  Headquartered in New York , the company is a leading investment banking boutique.  Evercore Partners Inc. raised $82.9 million in its initial public offering.
