21 Initial Public Offerings Joined NYSE in the Week Ended June 16, 2006
•Largest Ever Set of Original ETF Listings on the NYSE
•Listing of Ethanol producer confirms the NYSE Group's leadership in energy


NEW YORK , June 16, 2006–   In the week ended June 16, 2006 , 21 initial public offerings listed on the NYSE, including 20 Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).           

WisdomTreeSM Trust,   which consists of 20 separate investment portfolios called Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), began trading on the NYSE on June 16.  As the first family of fundamentally-weighted dividend-based ETFs, the WisdomTree Domestic and International Equity Funds are based on proprietary indexes developed by WisdomTree Investments.  These Indexes cover major U.S. and international market capitalizations and determine component weight by the amount of ordinary cash dividends a company pays. The addition of these 20 WisdomTree products brings the NYSE Group’s total primary listings for ETFs and related products to 94.  Combined with 270 ETFs trading on an unlisted trading privilege basis (UTP), year-to-date the NYSE Group trades 38% of all ETF shares traded in U.S. market.

VeraSun Energy Corporation,headquartered in Brookings , South Dakota , celebrated its initial public offering when it began trading on the Big Board under the ticker symbol VSE on June 14.  This week's NYSE listing of VeraSun (NYSE:VSE) once again confirmed the NYSE Group's leadership in the energy sector: 99% of all qualified energy companies have chosen to list on the NYSE.
