New York and Chicago July 21 - The NYSE Group, Inc. today filed a draft Registration Statement on Form S-4, containing a preliminary joint proxy statement/prospectus on the proposed NYSE-Archipelago Holdings (PCX: AX) merger, with the Securities and Exchange Commission. NYSE Members and Archipelago stockholders are expected to receive the final proxy statement and vote on the transaction later this year.
