NEW YORK, July 8, 2005– In the week ended July 8, 2005, one new listing joined the roster of New York Stock Exchange-listed companies.
The common shares of Medical Properties Trust Inc., headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., began trading on the NYSE on July 8 under the ticker symbol MPW. Medical Properties Trust Inc. is a real estate investment trust that owns medical facilities. The company joined the Exchange as an initial public offering.
