It operates in three segments: OneBeacon, Sirius Group and Other Operations. The OneBeacon segment consists of OneBeacon Insurance Group, Ltd., a company that owns a family of United States-based property and casualty insurance companies. The Sirius Group segment consists of Sirius International Insurance Group, Ltd. and its subsidiaries. In December 2012, it's subsidiary, White Mountains Solutions Holding Company, Inc. acquired Physicians Insurance Company and Citation Insurance Company from PICO Holdings and also the acquisition of two AIG runoff subsidiaries, American General Indemnity Company and American General Property Insurance Company. In April 2013, White Mountains Solutions Holding Company, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company announced that it had completed the acquisition of American Fuji Fire and Marine Insurance Company. |
