Its automatic test equipment products and services include semiconductor test (Semiconductor Test) and circuit-board test and inspection systems, military/aerospace (Mil/Aero) test instrumentation and systems and automotive diagnostic and test systems (Systems Test Group). On January 24, 2008, it completed its acquisition of Nextest Systems Corporation (Nextest). On August 1, 2007, it completed the sale of its broadband test products business (Broadband Test Division), which provides test systems for testing lines and qualifying lines for Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) telephone networks, to Tollgrade Communications, Inc. (Tollgrade). In November 2008, Teradyne, Inc. acquired Eagle Test Systems, Inc., persuant to which, Eagle Test has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Teradyne, Inc. |
