| Moody's Corporation (Moody's) is a provider of credit ratings, research and analysis covering fixed income securities, other debt instruments and the entities that issue such instruments in the global capital markets, and credit training services, and quantitative credit risk assessment products and services and credit processing software for banks, corporations and investors in credit-sensitive assets. During the year ended December 31, 2007, Moody operated in two segments: Moody's Investors Service (MIS) and Moody's KMV (MKMV). In October 2008, Moody's acquired Fermat International. In December 2008, Moody's acquired Enb Consulting Limited, a provider of training services for the financial markets, including technical and soft-skills programs for banking and capital markets professionals. Enb will be integrated into Moody's Analytics Training Services. |
