The Company is also a supplier of systems and products to the global defense and space markets. Its business is conducted on a global basis with manufacturing, service and sales undertaken in locations throughout the world. The Company's products and services are sold to customers in North America, Europe and Asia. It operates through three business segments: Actuation and Landing Systems; Nacelles and Interior Systems, and Electronic Systems. Goodrich's principal products include nacelles, actuation systems, landing gear, aircraft wheels and brakes, engine control systems, optical and space systems, sensor systems and power systems. In November 2007, Goodrich completed the sale of its airframe heavy maintenance business, Goodrich Aviation Technical Services, Inc. (ATS), to a subsidiary of Macquarie Group Limited. |
