| Graphic Packaging Holding Company (GPHC) is a provider of paperboard packaging solutions for a variety of products to multinational food, beverage and other consumer products companies.The Company provides its customers paperboard, cartons and packaging machines, either as an integrated solution or separately. Its packaging products are made from a variety of grades of paperboard. It manufactures its packaging products from coated unbleached kraft paperboard and coated recycled paperboard that it produces at its mills, and a portion from paperboard, primarily solid bleached sulphate, purchased from external sources. It operates in four geographic areas: the United States/ North America, Central/South America, Europe and Asia Pacific. The Company conducts its business in three segments: paperboard packaging, multi-wall bag and specialty packaging. In June 2009, the Company announced that is sold certain assets of the Handschy inks, coatings and varnishes business to Sun Chemical. |
