| Reddy Ice Holdings, Inc. (Reddy Holdings), with its wholly owned subsidiary, Reddy Ice Corporation (Reddy Corp.), is the manufacturer and distributor of packaged ice in the United States. The Company serves a range of customers in 34 states and the District of Columbia under the Reddy Ice brand name. Its principal product is ice packaged in 4 to 50 pound bags, which it sells to a diversified customer base, including supermarkets, mass merchants and convenience stores. During the year ended December 31, 2010, it sold approximately 1.7 million tons of ice. The Company's products are primarily sold throughout the southern United States (the Sun Belt). As of March 25, 2011, the Company owned or operated 58 ice manufacturing facilities, 72 distribution centers and approximately 3,500 in-store bagging equipment (ISB) machines. As of March 25, 2011, the Company had an aggregate daily ice manufacturing capacity of approximately 18,000 tons. |
