| F.N.B. Corporation is a financial holding company and a bank holding company. The Company has four business segments: Community Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance and Consumer Finance. As of December 31, 2011, it had 234 Community Banking offices in Pennsylvania and Ohio and 66 Consumer Finance offices in those states, as well as Tennessee and Kentucky. As of December 31, 2011, the Community Banking segment consisted of a regional community bank, First National Bank of Pennsylvania. The Wealth Management segment consisted of a trust company, a registered investment advisor and a subsidiary that offered broker-dealer services, through a third party networking arrangement with a non-affiliated licensed broker-dealer entity. The Insurance segment consisted of an insurance agency and a reinsurer. The Consumer Finance segment consisted of a multi-state consumer finance company. On January 1, 2012, F.N.B. Corporation merged with Parkvale Financial Corporation. |
