| Denbury Resources Inc. is engaged in the acquisition, development, operation and exploration of oil and natural gas properties in the Gulf Coast region of the United States, primarily in Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and Alabama. During the year ended December 31, 2007, the Company focused on carbon dioxide (CO2) enhanced oil recovery. At December 31, 2007, the Company had total tertiary-related proved oil reserves of approximately 69.5 million barrels of crude oil or other liquid hydrocarbons (MMBbls), consisting of 2.7 MMBbls at Little Creek Field (and surrounding smaller fields), 11.5 MMBbls at Mallalieu Field, 15.3 MMBbls at McComb and Smithdale Fields, 18.7 MMBbls at Brookhaven Field, 10.2 MMBbls at Eucutta Field, 9.8 MMBbls at Soso Field, and 1.3 MMBbls at Martinville Field. |
