| Mack-Cali Realty Corporation is a self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust (REIT), which owns and operates a real estate portfolios consisted of Class A office and office/flex properties located in the Northeast. The Company performs all commercial real estate leasing, management, acquisition, development and construction services on an in-house basis. In February 2012, the Company along with Winthrop Realty Trust formed a joint venture that acquired a senior mezzanine loan position of a 1.7 million-square-foot class A portfolio in Stamford, Conn. In January 2013, it acquired Alterra at Overlook Ridge IA in Metro Boston. In March 2013, it acquired the 828-unit multi-family property known as Crystal House in the Crystal City section of Arlington, Virginia. In April 2013, it acquired Alterra at Overlook Ridge IB in Metro Boston. In April 2013, the Company sold its 55 Corporate Drive office building located in Bridgewater, New Jersey. |
