| SEACOR Holdings Inc. (SEACOR) is a company that owns, operates, invests in and marketing equipment, primarily in the offshore oil and gas and marine transportation industries. The Company operates a fleet of offshore support vessels and helicopters servicing oil and gas exploration, development and production facilities and a fleet of tankers that transport petroleum, chemicals and crude products primarily in the United States domestic or coastwise trade. SEACOR has five business segments: Offshore Marine Services, Marine Transportation Services, Inland River Services, Aviation Services and Environmental Services. Its additional activities are included under Other, which includes Harbor and Offshore Towing Services, energy trading activities, various other investments in joint ventures and asset leasing activities. On January 5, 2007, EraMed LLC (EraMed), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, acquired the air medical business of Keystone Helicopter Corporation. |
