| Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company S.A. is engaged in producing, selling and distributing non-alcoholic beverages consisting primarily of products of The Coca-Cola Company. The Company is a bottler of non-alcoholic beverages in Europe, operating in 28 countries. During the year ended December 31, 2008, it sold approximately 2.1 billion unit cases. Under its bottlers' agreements with The Coca-Cola Company, the Company has the right to produce and the exclusive right, subject to certain limitations, to sell and distribute products of The Coca-Cola Company in each of its territories. Sales of products of The Coca-Cola Company represented approximately 95% of its total sales volume in 2008, with sales of products under the Coca-Cola brand, representing approximately 35% of its total sales volume. In addition to Coca-Cola, its other core brands include Fanta, Sprite, Coca-Cola light (which it sells in some of its countries under the Diet Coke trademark) and Coca-Cola Zero. |
