| Berry Petroleum Company is an independent energy company engaged in the production, development, acquisition, exploitation of and exploration for, crude oil and natural gas. The Company has organized its operations into six asset teams: South Midway-Sunset (S. Midway), North Midway-Sunset, including diatomite (N. Midway), Permian, Uinta, East Texas (E. Texas) and Piceance. Its S. Midway asset team is primarily focused on production. The Company owns and operates properties in the South Midway-Sunset Field in the San Joaquin Valley. On April 1, 2009, the Company sold its DJ basin assets. |
