The Company's Utilities Group is comprised of its Electric Utilities and Gas Utilities segments, and its Non-regulated Energy Group is comprised of its Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Coal Mining, and Energy Marketing segments. The Electric Utilities segment generates, transmits and distributes electricity to approximately 202,100 customers in South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado and Montana. It's Oil and Gas segment engages in the exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas, primarily in the Rocky Mountain region. The Coal Mining segment produces coal at its coal mine near Gillette, Wyoming, and its Energy Marketing segment markets natural gas, crude oil and related services, primarily in the Western and Mid-continent regions of the Unites States and Canada. |
