Special Note for Use Behind a Firewall:
If you have a firewall in place (if you access the Internet from your corporate LAN you probably have a firewall), you will need to specify your HTTP proxy in the Media Player settings. To do this, start the Media Player. Select View from the menu bar, and click on Options. Click on the Advanced tab then the Windows Media tab.  This will allow you to specify your HTTP proxy server. Make sure that the HTTP and Use a proxy for HTTP streaming boxes are checked. Type in the name and port of your proxy server in the spaces provided.

To find the name and port of your HTTP proxy server:

Internet Explorer
VIEW>options>connection
Netscape Navigator:
OPTIONS>network>proxies>view
Netscape Communicator
EDIT>preferences>advanced>proxies>view

If you still have problems installing, please go to the Microsoft Media Player FAQ site.
