NYSE s-QuoteSM An electronic representation of a specialist’s trading interest, which can be entered into Display Book manually, or through the Specialist API, which transmits to the Display Book messages generated by proprietary algorithms to quote or trade on behalf of the specialist’s dealer accounts in certain, limited ways. Rules governing the priority, parity and yielding of s-Quotes are built into Display Book. Also referred to as Specialist Interest File.
