About NYSE Teachers Workshop
In its 25th year, the Teachers Workshop is a professional development program for educators who teach economics, financial markets and personal finance to their students.
Nearly 170 teachers from 36 states are participating in the 3 weeklong Teachers Workshop programs and 2 advanced programs offered this summer by NYSE Euronext and the SEC.
The program is designed to give educators a thorough understanding of the Capital-raising process; market structure and technology; regulation; and financial products. Educational materials and workshops enable the teachers to translate the information to classroom curricula.
