On Friday, July 27, executives and guests of Cohen & Steers (NYSE: CNS) will visit the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate the initial public offering of a newly formed closed-end fund, Cohen & Steers Limited Duration Preferred and Income Fund (NYSE: LDP). Bob Steers, Co-Chairman and Co-CEO will be joined by Bill Scapell, Senior Vice President, Head of Fixed Income and Portfolio Manager of the Fund as well as other senior executives and guests. The Fund’s primary investment objective is high current income with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve this objective through investments in mostly investment grade preferred and other fixed income securities while maintaining a portfolio duration of six years or less in order to attempt to reduce the risk of rising interest rates in the future.
