On Tuesday, July 3, executives and guests of Macy’s Inc. (NYSE: M), visits the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to kick-off the 36th Annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks®. To highlight this event, Amy Kule, Executive Producer of Macy's 4th of July Fireworks along with Miss America 2012, Laura Kaeppeler, rings The Closing BellSM as cold pyrotechnic sparklers are ignited off the bell podium.

About the 36th Annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks®:
With more than 3 million live spectators and millions tuned in nationwide, New York City’s Hudson River will host America’s most explosive party. The 36th annual Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks will fire more than 40,000 pyrotechnic shells during a 25-minute synchronized display. Designed in collaboration with Pyro Spectaculars by Souza, the show will be set off from barges positioned on the Hudson River from 18th to 43rd Streets. With an average of 1,600 shells launched per minute, Macy’s Fireworks show is truly a dazzling spectacle.
The Spectacular will be broadcast live on NBC on Wednesday, July 4 at 9 p.m. nationwide and the fireworks soundtrack can be heard locally on 1010 WINS-AM and Fresh 102.7 FM radio. (Source: Macy’s)
