These three ETFs (noted below) allow investors to gain exposure to largely underrepresented areas of the high yield market that, in the past, may have been difficult to access.
- Market Vectors International High Yield Bond ETF (NYSE Arca: IHY), which seeks to track an index of below investment grade debt issued by corporations located throughout the world, excluding the United States, denominated in Euros, U.S. dollars, Canadian dollars or pound sterling issued in the major domestic of Eurobond markets;
- Market Vectors Fallen Angel High Yield Bond ETF (NYSE Arca: ANGL), which seeks to track an index of the “fallen angels” segment of the high yield universe, which encompasses below investment grade corporate bonds that had been rated investment grade at the time of issuance; and
- Market Vectors Emerging Markets High Yield Bond ETF (NYSE Arca: HYEM), which seeks to track an index of U.S.-dollar denominated bonds issued by non-sovereign emerging markets issuers that are rated below investment grade and issued in the major domestic or Eurobond markets.
