On Thursday, May 10 the Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) will visit the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in honor of World Lupus Day to raise awareness of the significant need to expand the medical research effort on lupus and the tremendous physical, emotional, and financial burden of the disease.|
This is the ninth annual observance of World Lupus Day. Since 2004, lupus organizations around the globe have conducted activities on May 10 to raise awareness and educate the public about the symptoms and health effects of lupus.
In honor of the occasion, Fran Tsimoyianis, LFA National Board Member and Jonathan Corpina, Meridian Equity Partners ring The Closing BellSM, joined by New York Giants, Zak DeOssie and Jim Cordle.
