Viacom’s MTV Celebrates Second Season of Breakout Hit Series “Jersey Shore” at the NYSE


MTV, a Viacom (NYSE-Listed VIA, VIA.B) network, will visit the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate the second season of MTV’s must watch reality series, “Jersey Shore”. In honor of the occasion, Cast Members Angelina, Jenni “J-Woww,” Mike “The Situation,” Nicole “Snooki,” DJ Pauly D, Ronnie, Sammi “Sweetheart” and Vinny ring The Opening BellSM.

Fans are getting ready for  more “Jersey Shore” as MTV’s breakout hit series returns for a second season on Thursday, July 29th at 10pm ET/PT.  Following the success of season one, the eight housemates escape the cold Northeast and bring the Jersey Shore heat and magic to Miami. The area code may have changed, but the drama remains the same as these over-the-top personalities juggle work, love, friendship and of course, “GTL.”

“Jersey Shore” is the #1 original cable series among P12-34 for 2010. The series posted phenomenal growth all season long with the finale audience more than tripling the series debut.  The season one finale (1/21/10) broke series records, delivering a 4.8 rating.

The second season of “Jersey Shore” premieres on MTV on July 29 at 10:00 p.m. (EDT/PT).
