- The New York Red Bulls kicked off the season in their brand-new stadium, Red Bull Arena, located in nearby Harrison, NJ.

- The Red Bulls hosted a Grand Opening at Red Bull Arena on March 20 in front of 25,000 fans – a sellout crowd – who witnessed New York earn a 3-1 win over legendary Brazilian club, Santos FC.

- Red Bull Arena is the premier soccer stadium in North America and is easily accessible via public transportation to the metropolitan area.

- Led by forward Juan Pablo Angel and new head coach Hans Backe, the Red Bulls are looking for success this season after making the MLS Cup Final in 2007.
