About American Eagle Outfitters
The 25,000 square foot Times Square store hosts four levels of shopping, including dedicated floors for AE denim, as well as aerie, American Outfitters’ intimates and dormwear brand. Additionally, the flagship store features a customer experience called “15 Seconds of Fame”. With a purchase, customers have the option to pose for a photo which is projected onto the 15,000 square feet of LED screens (25 stories high) outside the store.
American Eagle Outfitters will officially open the Times Square store on November 19 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a Mayoral proclamation declaring the day “American Eagle Outfitters Day” in New York City. American Eagle Outfitters will also recognize the grand opening by making a donation of $100,000 to support overnight college trips for high school students enrolled in afterschool programs administered by the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development.
