The Company is engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing and transporting natural gas for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (Anadarko) and other producers and customers. The Company's assets consist of nine gathering systems, six natural gas treating facilities, two gas processing facilities and one interstate pipeline. Its assets are located in East Texas, the Rocky Mountains (Utah and Wyoming) and the Mid-Continent (Kansas and Oklahoma). The Company's general partner is Western Gas Holdings, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Anadarko. On December 19, 2008, the Company acquired certain midstream assets from Anadarko.
