Louis Vuitton (NYSE Euronext Paris: MC) commemorates the 40th anniversary of man’s conquest of the moon. In honor of the occasion, famous astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Jim Lovell, along with Daniel Lalonde, President and CEO of Louis Vuitton North America, ring The Closing Bell®.
That evening, Louis Vuitton celebrates the 40th anniversary of the lunar landing at the American Museum of Natural History. Aldrin and Lovell are featured, along with astronaut Sally Ride in Louis Vuitton’s new “Core Values” ad campaign, which recognizes their personal journeys as a voyage of significance for all mankind.
