Jeroen Brabers has been Group Director Integrity at TNT N.V. since 1 March 2005. Before that, starting in mid-1998, he was TNT’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. As General Counsel Jeroen Brabers was responsible for corporate governance and compliance. Before joining TNT he was Senior Legal Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Koninklijke PTT Nederland, where he was closely involved in the privatisation of the company in the mid-1990s, and in the public takeover bid for TNT Ltd in 1986, and the splitting off of TNT Post Group N.V. (the former name of TNT N.V.) in 1998.
Jeroen Brabers began his career as a lawyer in Amsterdam in August 1978. From 1982 until 1989 he worked for a small, specialized legal advice company in The Hague. He studied law at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA.
