NYSE Celebrates Jan. 20TH Inauguration of Barack Obama

The New York Stock Exchange will celebrate the Inauguration of President-Elect Barack Obama, when he is sworn in as the 44th president of the United States. To honor this historic occasion, the NYSE will ring the Opening BellSM from the steps of Federal Hall -- the location of the first Inauguration -- with local school children, joined by representatives from the Downtown Alliance and the National Park Service.

The Inauguration will be broadcast live via satellite on a "Jumbotron" screen on Broad Street outside in front of the Exchange, beginning at 11:30am. During the Inauguration, special commemorative snacks will be provided to NYSE employees and trading floor professionals by Planters, a leading brand of Kraft Foods (NYSE: KFT), and Honest Tea.
