The 2008 Global Alpha Forum brings together leaders from the alternative investment industry, academia and government. The 2007 inaugural Forum attracted several hundred delegates and was covered live by CNBC and Bloomberg Television.
Although set in Greenwich, Connecticut – "the hedge fund capital of the world" – the 2008 Global Alpha Forum is broader in scope than the standard hedge fund conference fare. The audience this year will once again consist of hedge fund managers, investors and advisors to hedge funds. The purpose of the conference is to bring international money allocators to Greenwich to meet the major participants in the U.S. Hedge Fund industry.
New program features have been added including: a gala networking reception on opening night, a tour of local hedge fund firms (for investors only) and special keynotes.
